Project Stampede

This major industrial project, coined Project Stampede, consisted of a 3 million SF, 5-story distribution center built for one of the top 5 companies in the US. The project was awarded late in the 2020 construction season, affording the team very little time to deliver the building pad. Immediately upon project award, the team mobilized a spread of earth moving equipment to move and place over 425,000 CY of material in just 20 days. Work included 426,000 CY of excavation and 180,000 tons of aggregate base. This permitted foundation construction to begin prior to winter setting in. Utility crews installed over 9,600 LF of watermain, 2,600 LF of sanitary sewer, and 11,200 LF of storm sewer, totaling 23,400 LF of underground utilities.
