We’re excited to spotlight one of the rising talents at Frattalone—our Preconstruction/Marketing Intern, Cate Zack.
Cate is finishing a double major in marketing and management and will continue her education at the University of Minnesota pursuing a construction management certification. Her journey into construction started with a mentor connection—but it didn’t take long for her to realize she had found the right fit.
Since joining Frattalone, Cate has played a key role supporting branding and proposal efforts—including helping bring our new logo transition to life and contributing to proposal development. What stands out most to her? The people.
She describes her experience in three words: positive, encouraging, and awesome—a reflection of the collaborative, team-first culture we strive to build every day.
Cate has also quickly recognized one of the most important truths in construction: success is built on strong communication and teamwork. That mindset, paired with her curiosity and willingness to learn, is setting a strong foundation for her future in the industry.
Outside of work, Cate brings the same energy and discipline from her 16 years as a gymnast—something that continues to shape her work ethic and drive.
