Rosedale Mall Project Underway

The Frattalone team began demolition of the former Herberger’s department store.

In Summer of 2020, VCC Construction out of Arkansas awarded Frattalone Companies the first project of many to be completed at Rosedale Mall.

The first project awarded was the Ring Road Conversion. The ring road at Rosedale Mall had historically been one way traffic. This project converted the ring to allow traffic to flow in two directions.

The second project awarded was the Macy’s Outparcels. This project included pad prep and site utilities for three outparcel buildings, including Raising Canes, Caribou Coffee, and Aspen Dental. This project required a 5,000 CY soil correction and a 21,000 CF stormwater filtration system.

In the summer of 2021, Frattalone Companies again partnered with VCC Construction to demolish the former Herberger’s department store. The 155,000 SF building took 3.5 months to demolish with nearly 1,000,000 lbs of steel being recycled!

In the fall of 2021, Frattalone Companies began work on the East outparcels. This project redeveloped an existing parking lot into two building pads and parking for a new Panera Bread and Shake Shack. This parking lot had an existing underground stormwater detention system that needed to be removed. In preparation for the two new buildings, we have also installed a new 82,000 CF stormwater filtration system.

Work is ongoing and continues to successfully move forward.
