Project Tiger
Frattalone completed the earthwork and utility package for this 80,000-SF last-mile delivery facility in St. James, Missouri. What began as an agricultural field was transformed into a fully prepared site ready for vertical construction, supporting a major investment in the region’s growing logistics infrastructure.
Work began in November 2025 and included extensive site preparation, grading, excavation, and utility installation. The team stripped and buried approximately 20,000 cubic yards of topsoil before reshaping the site and preparing it for construction. Frattalone crews then excavated 1,150 LF of building footings and 85 foundation pads to support the future facility.
Prior to construction, the building pad and parking areas were cement stabilized to create a durable foundation capable of supporting long-term operations.
One of the project’s biggest challenges was an exceptionally wet spring, which resulted in numerous rain delays and difficult site conditions. Through careful planning, coordination, and adaptability, the team maintained progress and successfully delivered the project on schedule.
